Nicholas Wyman
Executive Director

Nick has been the CEO of IWSI America since 2006. He has fostered a workforce development model that uses mentoring that shapes the thinking and attitude, behaviours as well as abilities and skills of people as they make the transition from school to work. Presenting in both Australia and Overseas on Workforce Development and mentoring to a diverse group from academics to business and industry, Nick represented Group Training Australia at the OECD roundtable and offered his mentoring approach to 120 business leaders, sustainability experts and government representatives at Australia’s Green Skills Forum to discuss the National Green Skills Agreement. Nick will be a lead consultant for the Singapore Pilot Program.

Deborah Williamson Phd
Vice-President

Deborah Williamson has extensive experience in juvenile delinquency, apprenticeship, and education policy. Beginning her career at the Kentucky Court of Justice, Williamson earned a Ph.D. in sociology, specializing in crime and deviance, before transitioning to workforce development. She now oversees impactful youth-serving projects in conjunction with the Urban Institute and California Department of Rehabilitation. Williamson holds a technical degree in natural resources from Hocking College and has received a national award from the Global Releaf Program at the American Forestry Association for her work in developing Target Green, a program for juvenile offenders. She also received Environmental Administrator of the Year from the Kentucky Association of Environmental Education.

Andrew Sezonov
Chief Operating Officer

Andrew Sezonov serves as the Vice-President at IWSI America, where his expertise in developing education-to-employment pathways shines. With over twenty years of experience, Sezonov has been instrumental in designing and implementing innovative vocational training and workforce development programs. His initiatives cater to a wide range of individuals, from youth to young adults and mature workers seeking career transitions. Through his efforts, Sezonov has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between education and employment, ensuring that workforce development strategies meet the evolving needs of diverse demographics.

Stephen Hamilton
Professor Emeritus
Cornell University

Stephen Hamilton’s illustrious 41-year career spans roles such as Professor of Human Development, Associate Provost for Outreach, Department Chair at Cornell, Dean at High Tech High Graduate School of Education, and Visiting Scholar at UC San Diego. Now an independent scholar, Hamilton consults with the Urban Institute on youth apprenticeship projects. His notable contributions to educational program evaluation and development are encapsulated in his book, “Career Pathways for All Youth,” which draws on the school-to-work movement to enhance current career pathways initiatives, thereby significantly impacting educational strategies and creating opportunities for youth apprenticeship.

Cynthia Walker
Senior Consultant

A career dedicated to equipping and advocating for young adults transitioning into the workforce, Cynthia is a USDOL National Apprenticeship Ambassador, speaker, and certified educator, who inspires stakeholders to invest in effective career pathways.

Destiny Wheeler
National Workforce Administration

Destiny’s academic achievements provide her with a unique perspective on the needs and challenges of educational and professional development programs, allowing her to contribute significantly to the planning and implementation of various initiatives. Resourceful administrative professional dedicated to streamlining systems and processes, ensuring optimal organizational efficiency and boosting overall productivity.

Hannah Allison
Career Counselor and Student Services

Hannah champions carceral justice reform and digital literacy. She has crafted digital literacy programs for justice-impacted clients, boasting a high graduation rate. With a BA in Psychology and minors in Spanish and Forensics from USC, her work emphasizes social impact, empowerment, and education.

Ahlam Suradi
Operations Team Leader

Ahlam engages with employers to identify skills needs and establishes customized talent solutions while sourcing support for active apprenticeship programs. With diverse leadership experience, Ahlam holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of California Riverside, dedicated to fostering talent development and addressing workforce needs.
